Lindsay S. C. Brinton represents landowners across the nation whose property has been seized by the federal government. A leader of Lewis Rice's Federal Takings & Rails to Trails Practice Group, she works closely with people affected by rail-trail conversions, which is when the federal government converts an abandoned railroad corridor into a public park or trail. Lindsay has used more than 15 years of experience in this area of the law to secure awards totaling millions of dollars for thousands of homeowners, farmers and businesses.
She has experience representing clients in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, state supreme courts and the U.S. Supreme Court.
